What the program is
Wellerstein Law Group, P.C. sends text messages to clients, prospective clients who have contacted us, and family members or caregivers who help them. This includes people working with our Get More Hours program on New York Medicaid home-care hours. Messages are about your matter only. Examples: appointment and deadline reminders, requests for documents or information, updates on the status of your case, and replies to questions you send us. We do not send marketing or promotional texts through this program.
How you sign up
You can agree to get texts from Wellerstein Law Group, P.C. in either of these two ways. Agreeing is optional. You do not have to agree to texts to hire us or receive our services: consent to receive text messages is not a condition of hiring us or of receiving any service.
1. In your signed retainer agreement (optional checkbox)
When you hire us for a Get More Hours matter, you sign our retainer agreement electronically. After the signature block there is a separate, optional section for text messages. The box is not checked in advance. If you want texts, you check the box and add your mobile number and initials. If you leave it blank, we will not text you, and your retainer agreement is not affected. The section reads:
